Dance Theatre of Lynchburg
As Dance Theatre of Lynchburg is a non-profit organization, family, friend and community involvement is an integral part of our success.
Contributions, both financially and through volunteerism, are appreciated and needed.
No contribution is too small and all donations help to ensure the viability and growth of DTL!
Project RELEVE is the program Dance Theatre of Lynchburg has in place to transcend any and all financial, cultural or other barriers that may limit or discourage a student to enroll in the program. The program is funded by direct donations and grants. All of the monies donated to the program go directly to offer students that qualify full or partial tuition scholarships.

General operating support provides unrestricted funding to help support and maintain Dance Theatre of Lynchburg as it pursues its mission. This fund is flexible and gives Dance Theatre of Lynchburg the ability to use the funds where they are most appropriate.

Other ways to get involved!
- Open House: Prior to attending classes, students, their families, and anyone interested in learning more about DTL are encouraged to attend the fall open house to become familiar with the policies and procedures of Dance Theatre of Lynchburg.
- Parent Council: All parents are encouraged to attend monthly meetings and to be active in The Parent Council. The Parent Council works to support and grow the mission of DTL. Parent Council volunteers contribute to the Dance Theatre performances by helping with costume construction, poster distribution, ushering, backstage organization, and more.
- Serve on a Committee: The work of Board of Directors is carried out by many committees. Please contact a member of the Board if you are interested in helping with DTL's Marketing, Special Events, Facilities Management, Advertising, or Development Committee.
- DTL E-Blast: E-Blasts will be sent regularly to inform parents and supporters of upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and share studio news.
