Dunbar Auditorium

A love triangle dating back to 1911, "Petrushka", remains a beloved dance masterpiece. A tale of a loveable and soulful marionette whose hopeless love for a doll leads to tragedy, this classic story ballet, originally created from Igor Stravinskyâs score, Alexander Benoisâ vision, and Michael Fokineâs choreography, continues to astound audiences around the world with its timeless story-line.

Under the direction of Artistic Director, Keith Lee, Dance Theatre of Lynchburgâs resident artists, repertory ensemble, and young dancers perform a contemporary rendition of this classic Russian character ballet.
