Summer Sessions 2010
During the summer Dance Theatre of Lynchburg offers intensive dance sessions. Instruction is provided by Dance Theatre of Lynchburg staff and guest artists.
In order to enroll in the summer sessions, each student must complete a 2010 summer registration form. A non-refundable deposit of $25 is due upon submission of the registration form. The deposit will be credited toward the tuition. Registration forms will not be processed without the required deposit.
TUITION: Tuition must be paid in full prior to the start of each session. Dance Theatre of Lynchburg accepts cash, check, money order, and Visa/MasterCard credit or debit payments.
DISCOUNTS: Several tuition discounts are available to our patrons. Register before May 1, 2009 and receive a ten percent discount. A ten percent family discount is available when family members enroll together. A ten percent discount is available to students registering for two or more sessions. Discounts cannot be combined.
FINANCIAL AID: Reduced tuition rates may be available upon completion of a financial aid application. Applications are available on-line and from the box office upon request.
AGES 3 & 4 (BALLET FOUNDATIONS)
Tuition is $175 for the series *
An introduction to dance which intertwines technique classes, storytelling, and improvisation to a creative and technically sound foundation - setting the stage for future artistic growth. Students achieve a sense of confidence while exploring musicality, technique, composition and classroom etiquette. The introductory series is held on Mondays from 9:00 am until noon.

AGES 5 TO 7 (PRIMARY LEVEL)
Tuition is $175 per session
Students learn ballet technique with an emphasis on ballet terminology, movement vocabulary, musicality and studio etiquette. The Sessions are held Monday through Friday from 9 am until 3 pm. Choose from the sessions listed below.

AGES 8 AND OLDER (LEVEL 1)
Tuition is $175 per session
Students attend ongoing classes in Ballet, Pre-Pointe, Body Conditioning, and Modern dance techniques. Designed for beginning to intermediate dancers, these sessions encourage artistic expression and the building of technical strength. Sessions are held Monday through Friday from 9 am until 3 pm. Choose from the sessions listed below.

- Session 3: July 12 - July 16
- Session 4: July 19 - July 23

Designed for intermediate dancers, these sessions encourage artistic expression and the building of technical strength. Sessions are held Monday through Friday from 9 am until 3 pm. Choose from the sessions listed below.

*Although we encourage students to take the full series, if not able to do so, the daily rate will be $45 per day if taken individually.
